Iran Press/ Iran news: The Iranian national karate team won seven gold, 10 silver, and 13 bronze medals to have the best performance among teams from around the world.
Kazakhstan finished second place with six gold medals and Japan ended up third with five gold medals, Iran Press reported.

On Sunday in Madrid, the Iranian men's Kumite team has finished the 2019 Karate1 Premier League in Madrid in the second place. Both Iranian men and women's teams were present in the competition.
At the end of the tournament, Iranian men's Kumite team gained 2 gold medals and a bronze to finish in second place. The Iranian women team also won a bronze medal.
Amir Mehdizadeh and Sajjad Ganjzadeh bagged the two gold medals for the men's Kumite team while Saleh Abazari brought home the only bronze medal for the Iranian men's team.
