Iran Press/ Iran News: Armin Gholipour spoke to Iran Press News Agency about the high technical level of Iranian billiards players and the deployment of the national team to Qatar.
Gholipour, who introduced himself as the coach of the Iranian national billiards team and an international referee in this field, added in an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency: "Since 2001, when the Billiards Federation was formed in Iran, Iranian billiard players have been able to win many honors and dozens of medals from international competitions."
The coach of the national billiards team said that the technical level of Iranian billiard players is high and now in the age group of less than 21 years, Iran has a good rank, while Hossein Vafaei and Soheil Vahedi, two Iranian billiards players, have been able to reach the professional level of the world.
Gholipour, meanwhile, stressed that although the Iranian Billiards Federation has performed poorly in promoting advertising, the Iranian people should know that billiards is active in more than 30 provinces of Iran and that dozens of national championships are held each year.
The coach of the Iranian national billiards team added: "The Iranian national billiards team will be sent to Qatar international competitions in 30 days from now."
