Dushanbe (IP): The Iranian Minister of Energy arrived in the Tajik capital of Dushanbe to attend the second water summit titled 'International Decade for Action on Water for Sustainable Development.

Iran PressAsia: According to Iran Press, on Tuesday, Iranian Energy Minister Ali Akbar Mehrabian arrived in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe, to attend the second high-level summit on water, titled "International Decade for Action on Water for Sustainable Development, 2018 to 2028.

The summit aims to accelerate efforts to resolve the water crisis at the national, regional, and international levels.

The meeting started on Monday, June 6, and will continue until Wednesday, June 9.

The Tajik government is co-organizing the summit with the cooperation of the United Nations and other parties.

The summit's purpose is to reaffirm that water is still one of the most pressing issues in the world.

The meeting will help strengthen the cooperation of countries and UN agencies to address the issue of water and related issues.
