Iran Press/ Iran News: The Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Kanani strongly warned against any new adventure of the Zionist regime against Lebanon under the pretext of the Majdal Shams incident in the occupied Golan region.
Referring to the statement of Hezbollah in Lebanon and the positions of some high-ranking officials of this country in denying any role in the attack on Majdal Shams, Kanani said: "After ten months of mass killing in the Gaza Strip and the massacre of Palestinian women and children, the apartheid regime of Israel seeks to deviate public opinion and world attention from its massive crimes in Palestine with a fake scenario."
Kanani emphasized that the Israeli regime does not have the minimum moral authority to comment and judge the incident that happened in the Majdal Shams area, and the claims of this regime against others will not be eligible either.
The Iranian senior diplomat considered it the responsibility of the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council, to support the stability and security of Lebanon and the region against the adventures of the Israeli regime.
Kanani emphasized: "Any ignorant action of the Zionist regime can lead to the development of instability, insecurity and the expansion of war in the region, in which case the said regime will be definitively and primarily responsible for the unforeseen consequences and reactions of such stupid behavior."
Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman recommended that the US government fulfill its international and moral responsibility rather than continuously arming the Zionist regime with weapons of mass destruction and honoring the criminal prime minister of this regime after ten months of continuous crimes against the Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. He added that the US should act for world peace and security the Zionist regime from starting a new fire whose flames will spread to the Zionists.
