Iran Press/Iran news: On 14 January, as the heart-rending anniversary martyrdom of Hazrat Fatima Zahra(AS), the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the mother of Shia Imams, approaches, the first night of mourning ceremony was held at the Hosseinieh of Imam Khomeini with Leader of the Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in attendance.
The mourning ceremony of Hazrat Fatima Zahra(AS) is held every year in the presence of a large number of devotees of the Prophet Muhammed' Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH) in Imam Khomeini Husseiniyah; however, this year due to the outbreak of the coronavirus and the need to fully observe health protocols is held without the presence of people.
