Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking at the weekly conference on Tuesday, Iran's Judiciary spokesman, Gholamhossein Esmaili said that to counter bureaucratic corruption, a national task force is needed and it requires a wise and decisive judge, reported Iran Press.
"If anyone witnesses any corruption, it must be reported to the Judiciary as soon as possible," Esmaili highlighted.
Speaking at his weekly press conference in Tehran on Tuesday, the spokesman for the Judiciary commemorated and congratulated the government week. He said the Judiciary system recognises no limits when it comes to fighting corruption, fraud, countering injustice and the like.
He also declared the readiness of the Judiciary to tackle corruption in all its forms.
Turning to the issue of Terrorism, Gholamhossein Esmaili said Iran is undeniably a victim of terrorism, with 17 thousands of our compatriots falling victim to terrorists.
He added: "Terrorists are active in this country, but fortunately our intelligence service's personnel and the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) won't allow terrorists to carry out their attacks and any terror plot will be nipped in the bud. IRGC and Intelligence Ministry will arrested and detain would-be terrorists before they can act.
Commenting on the case of "Anousheh Ashouri", a spy connected to the Israeli Intelligence service Mossad, who received much intelligence support from Mossad, Esmaili said Ashouri spied for Israel, and passed on a great deal of information to Mossad.
Esmaili confirmed that after her arrested, Ashouri has been sentenced 12 years imprisonment and over 33 thousand dollars have been saved, benefiting the economy.
The spokesman for the Judiciary also noted that 27 August has been designated as "Countering Terrorism Day" in Iran.
Answering a question raised by Iran Press correspondent about the impounding of an Iranian oil tanker by the British Royal Marines off the coast of Gibraltar, Gholamhossein Esmaili forthrightly condemned the illegal seizure. He said: "No one could accuse the Islamic Republic of Iran's oil tanker or its crew.
The British oil tanker impounded by Iran, encroached international laws and rules. It even had an accident with an Iranian fishing vessel and had turned off its warning system. We have declared and clarified their violations and are ready to offer our documents and evidence to international courts of law.
Neither the British, nor the Americans could legally prove that the Iranian oil tanker breached any laws. Britain must make restitution for the illegal seizure of the Iranian oil tanker.
Commenting on the case of spy Maziyar Ebrahimi , Esmaili said: "Let me tell you not to be deceived by Britain and the BBC. He has been in Iran for a long while then went abroad and there he impacted by Britain's media. If he has any valid claim regarding his right-encroachment, we are ready to consider and help."
