Iran Press/Europe: According to the Iran Press news agency in Paris; upon arrival, Mahmoud Khosravi Wafa announced that Iran's sports convoy with Khadim al-Reza as his motto has participated in the Paris Olympics.
Concerning the prize for the medal winners in these games, the Iranian officials said: "The National Olympic Committee will deposit 10 billion Tomans in cash and at the podium to the account of the gold medalist, and the Ministry of Sports will also pay another 8 billion Tomans. For silver and bronze medalists, appropriate amounts will be allocated.
