Baghdad(IP): Iran's ambassador to Iraq said that Iran's gas exports to Iraq continue according to the predetermined agreement.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Iran is one of the largest countries with huge reserves of oil and gas, and despite the cruel and illegal sanctions of Western countries, it exports large amounts of oil and gas to various countries.

According to Iran press, Iran's ambassador to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadegh, said: "Recently, due to the annual maintenance of gas pipelines, exports were interrupted, and after the pipeline repairs, exports will return to their normal state."

Earlier, "Hamid Hosseini", a member of the Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce, stated that it is expected Iran's exports to Iraq will reach 10 billion dollars by the end of this year (1402) by setting a new record. There is a supply of currency and exchange rate in Iraq, but the growing trend of exporting Iranian goods to this country continues.

Having the longest border among the neighbors (about 1258 km land border and 351 km water border) together with racial, historical, linguistic ties, religious commonalities, and the existence of threats and common security and economic interests are considered important points in Iran-Iraq relations. .

Expanding relations between Iran and Iraq in recent years has always been on the agenda of the authorities of the two countries due to the many cultural, political, and religious similarities.
