Iran Press/ Iran news: Iranian Foreign Minister Spokesman Nasser Kanaani confirmed on Thursday that the Pakistani chargé d'affaires had been summoned by the ministry to convey Tehran’s protest to Islamabad and provide an explanation about the border attack in the early morning on Thursday.
Deputy governor of the province Alireza Marhamati said nine non-Iranian nationals, including two men, three women and four children, were killed in the attack.
He added that Iranian security officials are investigating the issue.

Issuing a statement, the Pakistani foreign ministry said that Islamabad has targeted the position of a Pakistani terrorist group.
Pakistan has carried out a series of military strikes on what it said were separatist terrorist hideouts in villages near Iran's borders.
Several explosions were heard in southeastern Iran early Thursday, as Pakistan confirmed it struck terrorist hideouts in Sistan-Baluchestan province.
