Iran Press/ Africa: Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Bamako, the capital of Mali, on Tuesday morning, Tehran time, at the head of a political and economic delegation, and was welcomed by Mali's Foreign Minister Abdullah Diop.
In this meeting, Abdullah Diop, while expressing his satisfaction with the Iranian Foreign Minister's visit to Mali, called this visit a sign of the determination of the Islamic Republic of Iran to develop all-round relations with Mali, and expressed gratitude to the government of Mali for Iran's attention to the development of relations with this country.
Amir Abdollahian, while emphasizing the policy of the government to develop all-around relations and especially commercial and economic cooperation with Mali, announced Iran's special plans to increase economic interactions with Bamako.
Amir Abdollahian's visit was made in response to the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mali, and during his stay in this country, Amir Abdollahian will also meet with the President of Mali and discuss the development of relations. 219
