The spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the interventionist policies of the United States and the European Union and advised these countries to avoid instrumental use of human rights.

Iran Press/Iran news: On Tuesday evening, in response to the interventionist political stance of some officials of the United States, the European Union and a number of countries regarding the case of Mahsa Amini, while expressing his condolences to her bereaved parents and family, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani condemned the foreign interfering positions towards this unfortunate incident.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran emphasized that countries known for their long history of war-making and violence around the world do not have the authority and legitimacy to preach to others about human rights.

He added: "The US government, by continuing the failed policy of maximum pressure and economic terrorism, is the biggest violator of the rights of the Iranian nation, and it cannot show itself as a supporter of the Iranian people by making unproven claims and adopting deceptive positions."

Emphasizing that human rights have an inherent value and position for the Islamic Republic of Iran based on religious and historical beliefs and values, Kannani added: "It is regrettable that some countries try to take advantage of an incident under investigation as an opportunity to pursue their political goals and desires against the government and people of Iran by instrumentally abusing human rights."

In the end, Kanaani advised this group of governments to fix the miserable situation of human rights in their countries and stop fruitless efforts to incite sedition in other countries.
