Iran Press/ West Asia: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Iran's Foreign Minister met with Ismail Haniyeh, the head chairman of Hamas's political bureau in Doha on Tuesday afternoon to discuss the latest developments in the Gaza Strip.

This is the second meeting between Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Ismail Haniyeh in Doha in the last two weeks.

The two sides have also held a telephone conversation over the past week since the Zionist regime waged a war on the Gaza Strip.

In this meeting, Amir-Abdollahian expressed his greetings to the Palestinian martyrs and said that there is no doubt that the Palestinian nation and resistance is the definitive winner of the field. The Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs added that the region is at the stage of making a very important decision and resistance groups are making decisions in their own region.

Iran's top diplomat added: "Palestinian resistance does not necessarily remain waiting for political decisions, so if the war crimes of the Israeli regime continue and the scope of conflict and war expands, no side will be far away from the scope of its effects and consequences."

Amir-Abdollahian added that despite advising others to exercise self-restraint, the US government is actually a side of the war and is not in a position to invite others to exercise self-restraint.

Referring to the supporting votes of the countries of the world for Palestine in the recent session of the United Nations General Assembly, as well as the unprecedented anti-Israel demonstrations across the world, the Iranian Foreign Minister said that these show global hatred for the Israeli regime and its supporters.

In this meeting, Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Hamas political bureau, explained the latest developments in Gaza, especially the unprecedented crimes of the Zionist regime against the citizens of Gaza, and said that the Al-Aqsa flood operation shows the honor of Palestine and the Islamic Ummah.

Haniyeh added that Hamas follows the valuable efforts of the Islamic Republic of Iran, its President, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs at the regional and international level for supporting the Palestinian nation. Haniyeh, also, expressed his heartfelt gratitude for these efforts.
