Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, who had traveled to Pretoria to participate in the 15th meeting of the Joint Commission on Cooperation between Iran and South Africa, left this city for Tehran on Friday morning.

Iran PressAfrica: During this trip, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, while participating in the meeting of the Joint Commission on Cooperation between Iran and South Africa, met and talked with his counterpart and the president of this country.

At the 15th meeting of the Iran-South Africa Joint Commission in Pretoria, the bilateral economic, trade and investment, political, social, and cultural committees examined 26 documents, which are likely to be signed during the upcoming visit of Ebrahim Raisi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran to South Africa.

In the framework of constructive interaction with the world, the Islamic Republic of Iran does not only have a one-dimensional view of European countries but extending ties with the continent of Africa and Asia is emphasized by Tehran.

Amir-Abdollahian also attended the gathering of Iranians in South Africa and was informed about their problems.
