Iran Press/ Middle East: In this visit, Iran's Foreign Minister will hold a meeting and discussion session with the Lebanese counterpart.
At his arrival, Iran's top diplomat stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran continues to strongly support the people, the government, the army and the resistance in Lebanon.
Furthermore, Amir-Abdollahian said: "We have no doubt that various political currents in Lebanon will be able to appoint their president competently and without any foreign interference."
He invited all Lebanese political currents to proceed through dialogue and agreement towards the election of the president and the completion of the political process.
Also, meetings with other high-ranking officials of Lebanon are included in the itinerary of the Iranian Foreign Minister. In these meetings, the topics of interest would cover various bilateral, regional and international areas in which both side's view will be exchanged. 219
