Tehran (IP)- Iran's senior advisor on special political affairs called for more action by the international community and the United Nations to send humanitarian and medical aid to the people of Yemen.

Iran PressIran news:  During a video conference, Ali Asghar Khaji spoke with Hans Grundberg, the UN Secretary General's special representative for Yemen affairs, about current political and humanitarian situations.

The senior adviser to the Iranian foreign minister and the special representative of the UN secretary-general on Yemeni affairs have emphasized the importance of resolving the Yemeni crisis through political negotiations.

They expressed hope that political talks between Ansarullah and the Saudi authorities will result in agreements to address humanitarian concerns and establish a lasting ceasefire in Yemen.
