Tehran (IP) - In a reaction to 'laughable' US State Department's claim on the presence of Al-Qaida terrorist group's leader in Tehran, Iranian Foreign Minister advised US to stop the failed game of Iran-phobia.

Iran PressIran news: Today, Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the United Nations rejected the US State Department's claim on the living of the new Al-Qaida terrorist group's leader, Saif Al-Adel in Tehran as misinformation.

US State Department Spokesperson Ned Price on Wednesday claimed that the "US believes al Qaeda leader Seif al-Adel is based in Iran."

Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in reaction to US state department spokesman, Ned Price in a tweet denied US  claims that Al Qaid's leader Seif al-Adel is based in the country.

"I advise the officials of the White House to stop the failed game of Iran-phobia, making news about the leader of Al-Qaeda and linking him to Iran is laughable," Amirabdollahian wrote.

Iranian Foreign Minister said: "Making news about the leader of Al-Qaida and linking it to Iran is laughable. The creators of Al-Qaeda and ISIS are responsible for the growth of terrorism in the world. Don't give wrong address!"
