(IP) - Director General of Central Asian, Caucasus, and Russian Affairs Department of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) said that with the conclusion of the preferential trade agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Iran's exports to the Eurasian countries have grown by 70% in the first half of 2023 compared to the same period in 2022.

Iran PressIran News:  Referring to the thriving market of Central Asian (CA) countries for the development of export of non-oil products and their political and economic affinities with Iran, Rahmatollah Khormali announced the 2nd round of the exclusive exhibition of the Eurasian Economic Union member states in Tehran. He further said that the exhibition will be held from December 4 to 7 with the participation of officials and companies of the Eurasian Union member countries.

Taking into account the importance of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Iran's official membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), and the increase in Iran's trade exchanges with countries in the Central Asia region, officials and companies from the countries have been invited to take part the 2nd round of the exhibition.
