Tehran (IP) - The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran announced an 18% increase in Iran's exports in the Persian calendar's first six months of the current year (from March 21 to September 22, 2022).

Iran PressIran News: Mohammad Mehdi Baradaran, Deputy of General Industries in Iran's Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, said that during the last year, 70% of Iran's imports had been raw materials.

On Wednesday, Baradaran, in a meeting with economical activists of Qazvin province, added: This year, only 20% of imports were consumer and final goods, such as mobile phones, which were not produced domestically.

According to Mr. Baradaran, Iran's share in the field of home appliance exports has grown by 34%.
