Iran Press/ Asia: The special envoy of Iran's foreign minister for Afghanistan, 'Mohammad Ebrahim Taherianfard', had a telephone conversation with 'Mohammad Hanif Atmar,' the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.
In this telephone conversation, Taherianfard condemned the terrorist attack on Kabul University and extended his condolences to Afghanistan's Government and people.
Explaining the results of the recent meeting of the representatives of Iran, Russia, and India on Afghanistan in Moscow and emphasizing the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the establishment of peace and security in Afghanistan were other topics discussed in this conversation.

On Monday, a group of gunmen stormed Kabul University after a bomb blast, shot dead several students at the university, killing 22 students and wounding more than 40 others.
ISIS terror group claimed responsibility for the deadly attack, and its propaganda arm said it was behind the rampage.
The terrorist group reportedly stormed the campus and opened fire, gunning down victims as they attempted to flee in terror.
After the incident, Iran's Foreign Ministry and senior officials strongly condemned the fatal terrorist attack saying that Afghan students fell victim to the ugly violence and endless war they had never chosen.
