Deputy foreign minister, Abbas Araqchi, made the remark in a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Ryabkov in Tehran on Thursday.
The talks were held two days after US President, Donald Trump, pulled Washington out of the nuclear deal with Iran.
The latest developments with regards to the nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and ways of preserving it without US, were the main subjects of discussion at this meeting.
Araqchi said: "Iran will continue to talk with all European, Russian and Chinese parties to explore ways of keeping the deal alive."
For his part, Russia's deputy foreign minister, said his country will remain committed to the deal , and will continue its cooperation with other signatories to salvage the deal.
The nuclear agreement was signed by Iran and the major world powers in 2015. Under the deal Iran agreed to curb its nuclear program in exchange for economic sanctions relief.
The other signatories to the deal—UK, France, Russia, China and Germany—have said that they will continue to enforce the deal.
