"From now on, people can participate in research on defence field in a form and in the framework of a council. It was always the people's will to participate in these kind of research which is a way for Jihad", Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami said in an interview with Iran press news agency.
"People also can do research on security issues", Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier General added.
"Meanwhile, with the memorandum of understanding (MoU) that has been signed, now we can work together in society on the issues like Waqf which is a very important issue", Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami concluded.
