Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that COVID-19 had taken the lives of 259 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 88,532.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to the latest data, the total number of COVID-19 patients in the country reached 3,664,286, of which 3,239,172 of them have recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 18,623 cases, out of whom 2,509 patients were hospitalized.

4,784 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 25,469,400 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 232 cities are red, 117 are orange, and 99 are yellow zones.

So far, 7,654,612 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 2,372,016 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 10,026,628 doses.
