Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari on Monday 16 June reported the latest data on the Coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus.
She said: "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to June 16 in the country, 2,563 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 192,439."
"Fortunately, 152,675 patients have recovered and discharged so far," Lari added.
The Spokeswoman said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 115 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 9,065 people have lost their lives in the country to date."
The official stated: "2,815 patients are in a critical condition."
So far, around 1,293,609 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman said.
This is while globally 439,577 people have died so far from the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak as of June 16, 2020,
