Aleppo(IP)- The Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Aleppo, Syria, visited the churches of the historic city on the occasion of the auspicious birth anniversary of Jesus Christ (PBUH) and Christmas celebrations.

Iran PressMiddle East: "Nawab Nouri" visited 12 churches in the city of Aleppo on Sunday and met with the bishops and officials of the churches.

During his visit to the historical churches of Aleppo, while congratulating the arrival of the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ, the Iranian Consul General wished the followers of this divine prophet success and a year full of spirituality and progress.

The Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Aleppo also announced his readiness for cultural cooperation with the churches of the historic city of Aleppo.

December 25 is the birthday of Jesus Christ (PBUH). Jesus Christ (PBUH) is one of the great prophets of God who is highly honored in the Holy Quran.

Also, coinciding the Christmas celebrations, the historic city of Aleppo these days is witnessing various cultural and political celebrations and programs on the occasion of the anniversary of the liberation of the historic city from the occupation of the ISIS terrorist outfit with the help of the martyr Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, the brave Iranian commander and axis of the resistance.

On December 14, 2016, the strategic city of Aleppo in northern Syria was freed entirely from the occupation of the ISIS terrorist outfit.
