Iranian army, messenger of despair and fear for enemies: SNSC Secretary

Tehran (IP) - Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) of Iran called the presence of the army of the Islamic Republic in various fields as a message of despair and fear for the enemies.

Iran PressIran NewsAli Shamkhani wrote on his Twitter page on Tuesday: "The presence of the forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army in various fields is a message of peace, security, and authority for the Iranian people and a source of frustration and fear for the enemies."

On April 17, 1979, the late founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini named the occasion as Army Day.

Every year commemorative parades are held across the country on the occasion of Army Day but this year the parades have been canceled due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Instead, an alternative plan called 'Service Parade' will be held across the country under the slogan 'Defenders of the Homeland and Health Assistants'.
