Iran Press/ Europe: The Russian Army-2023 forum and exposition demonstrate Moscow’s capacity to produce the most advanced weapons, according to Russian officials.
Brigadier General Kiomars Heidari, Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Forces, was welcomed at Moscow's Vnukovo International Airport by Kazem Jalali, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Moscow, and General Matisin Raman, Deputy of the Russian Army's Ground Forces in International Coordination Affairs.
Iranian Commander Kiomars Heidari will visit the training and operational centers in Russia and meet with his Russian counterpart at the invitation of the Commander in Chief of the Russian Ground Forces, Oleg Salyukov.
He will visit officials from the Russian Military Forces and the Ministry of Defense of Russia and discuss the latest combat technologies at the ARMY 2023.
Previously, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, headed an Iranian military delegation to Moscow on Monday, 14 August, to visit the Russian military exhibition, he also met with some officials, including the Defense Ministers of China and Kazakhstan.
Russian Minister of Defense Sergei Shiogu visited Iran's booth in Army 2023.
Iranian Defense and military industries showcased the country's latest military products.
The Army 2023 event, which began on August 14th, will conclude today, Sunday, August 20th.
