Iran Press/Europe: Hassan Qashqawi said Friday that the US terrorist attack violated Iraqi national sovereignty and all international norms, adding that the Americans Intend to destabilize the Middle East region and foster violence and extremism and support ISIS.
Meanwhile, Iran's Embassy in Italy issued a statement urging all thinkers, politicians, organizations and the mass media to condemn the US terrorist act to bolster the legitimacy of the international system and counter the US unilateralism.
The statement added that the criminal and terrorist act once again revealed the false claim of the US peacekeeping in the region.
"The US action is a unilateral terrorist act that will exacerbate insecurity in West Asia and the world, Iran reserves its right to respond decisively to the US war-mongering actions," the statement added.
Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, the Late head of the IRGC elite Quds Force, and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandis, the deputy commander of Iraq's PMF, were martyred in the US strike targeting their cars in the Iraqi capital Baghdad early on Friday.
