Markazi (IP) - Commander of the Iranian Army's Air Defense Force called self-sufficiency and optimization of radar and missile systems the achievements of Iran Air Defense Force.

Iran PressIran news:  During a visit to the Khandab Air Defense Group in the Markazi Province of Iran, Brigadier General Alireza Sabahi-Fard, Commander of the Iranian Army's Air Defense Force, pointed to the high level of knowledge in Iran's Air Defence and said the modern defense systems are designed within the country.

General Sabahi-Fard also pointed to the authority and deterrence power of Iran's Air Defense which secures the Iranian sky, stressing that the vigilance of the border guards secures the country.  

Besides the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Iran's Army has its own Joint Staff, coordinating its four separate service branches: Ground Forces, Air Force, Navy, and Air Defense Force.
