Tehran (IP) - Isa Zarepour, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Andrei Lipov, the head of the Russian communications and information technology regulatory body, held a joint meeting in Tehran.

Iran PressIran news: According to the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, in this meeting, issues such as cooperation in international forums, protection of children on the Internet, and use of each other's experiences were discussed.

This meeting, which was held as a continuation of the international interactions of the Ministry of Communications and at the request of the Russian side, cooperation and interaction in international forums such as ITU, as well as the use of Iran's experiences in the field of protecting children on the Internet, were among the main points of the negotiations.

Today (Monday), Russia's regulatory chief will hold a joint meeting with Amir Lajvardi, head of the Radio Communications Regulatory Organization, to expand bilateral relations in ICT and gain a market for the products and services of Iranian companies in this field.

Andrey Lipov's presence in Tehran took place while recently, the Ministry of Communications hosted the two-day meeting of the Ministers of Communications of ECO member countries, which was accompanied by the presence of ministers and high-ranking foreign delegations.
