Iran Press/ Middle East: Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadeq, the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq, met with his Russian counterpart, Elbrus Kotrachev, on Monday at the Iranian embassy in Baghdad.
The two sides discussed the latest regional and international developments and welcomed the efforts of the Sudanese government to serve its people and develop economic infrastructure.
Referring to bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Iran and Russia, Al-Sadeq said: "It is expected that the issue of territorial integrity, including the three Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf, will be respected by all governments, especially friendly ones, as that is a red line for the Islamic Republic of Iran's foreign policy." 219
