Iran Press/ Iran news: Despite the sanctions and global political pressures, the Islamic Republic of Iran has overcome obstacles and achieved good results by relying on the important role of the people, especially the elite and active young people involved in the scientific and medical fields.
It should be noted that Iran is self-sufficient in the production of 500 medical products.
According to Iran Press, Iran's Minister of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education, Bahram Einollahi, said on Monday during the meeting with Burkina Faso's Minister of Health, Robert Kargougou, in Tehran, that Iran considers Burkina Faso to be a friendly country and should show this friendship in an operational form at all levels.
Einullahi added that Iran is in a very bad situation due to sanctions, but Iranian scientists started working and took the path of self-sufficiency with the guidelines of the supreme leader of the Islamic Revolution.
The Minister of Health of Iran stated that despite the sanctions, Iran produces 97% of the required medicines and has made good progress in the field of medical equipment and supplies.
Burkina Faso's Minister of Health, Robert Kargougou, also emphasized cooperation with Iran in the field of health and said that Iran excels in the field of health and enjoys good hospitals and can benefit from experiences and medical services.
In the framework of constructive interaction with the world, the Islamic Republic of Iran does not only have a one-dimensional view of European countries, but it also emphasizes the continent of Africa and Asia.
