Iran Press/ Iran news: Since 2005, 4 April has been the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action.
In 2022 the United Nations Mine Action Service marks the Day under the theme “Safe Ground, Safe Steps, Safe Home.”
Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani in a message on the occasion of the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action, added: "Iran has acquired the knowledge to produce demining equipment and is ready to use its resources to sweep land mines."
"Iran is also ready to help other countries and relevant international organizations," he added.
