Iran Press/Iran News: Hassan Rouhani implied that today's economic power lies in technology and innovation, and in thought indeed.
He made these remarks in the inauguration of several national big projects and innovation factories in different parts of the country via videoconferencing on Thursday.
Rouhani considered doing great work in the field of knowledge-based companies as one of the honours of his administration.
He stated that in some areas, Iran is moving alongside industrialized countries.
He elaborated: "Today, in some fields of science and innovation, Iran is not far behind the leading countries, for example, Iran is in fourth place in the world's nanotechnology."
Iran's president went on to say that the country could achieve self-sufficiency in all modern and sophisticated equipment.
In the field of law and intellectual property, he also appreciated those who enact regulations to give more confidence to the youth and expressed hope to see positive developments in the field of science, knowledge, and technology in Iran.
