Iran Press/ Asia: At the end of the 19th Asian Arm Wrestling Championship held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, the Iranian team stood in third place among 500 world athletes from twelve countries in the adult team section and in the overall section.
Iran ranked third in Asia in all age categories with 4 gold, 7 silver and 20 bronze medals and a total of 31 medals.
Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan also won the Asian Championship and runner-up titles, respectively.
The Asian Arm Wrestling Championships kicked off in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on Friday with the participation of 12 teams and 500 athletes.
