Tehran (IP)- The Iranian Interior Minister emphasized that border points with Afghanistan and Pakistan will be prioritized for border reinforcement efforts as these are being exploited by terrorists occasionally.

Iran PressIran news: "The border blocking plan is a comprehensive strategy that encompasses various aspects, not just a physical barrier," Ahmad Vahidi explained. "Under the guidance of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, various military and law enforcement agencies are involved in implementing this plan along the border."

The Interior Minister acknowledged that border reinforcement is a time-consuming undertaking, necessitating a focus on areas where gaps exist and are being misused. "We have identified border points with Afghanistan and Pakistan that are prioritized for closure," Vahidi stated.
