Iran Press/ Iran news: President Ebrahim Raisi stressed the efforts of the two sides' officials, which should pave the way for cementing Tehran-Lima ties.
President Raisi congratulated Casas Diaz, the Republic of Peru's accredited ambassador to Iran, at the credential ceremony on Sunday. The Iranian President wished the Peruvian ambassador success in his mission in Tehran and highlighted the history of cooperation between the two countries.
Pointing to the historical records between the two countries, Casas Diaz also announced the warm greetings of the Peruvian President to the President of Iran and said that he would try to strengthen the relations between the two countries.
"Iran and Peru have maintained friendly and constructive relations for 50 years," Diaz emphasized, highlighting efforts to increase cooperation and bring the two nations closer together.
