Fighting, resistance only way to liberate Palestine: Ghalibaf
The Iranian Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, told the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) Movement that the fight against the Israeli regime was the only way to liberate the Palestinian soil.
Ghalibaf said whenever the Islamic Ummah insisted on their Quranic belief, they got victorious, as they show with their triumphs in the 33-day and 22-day wars on Lebanon and Gaza, respectively.
Ghalibaf pointed to the US president's recent trip to the West Asian region and some of the regional states' normalization of ties with the Israeli regime and said: "The more the pressure of the general public on the states that have normalized ties with the Zionist regime, the costlier it will be for them."
The Secretary-General of Palestine's Islamic Jihad (PIJ) Movement, for his part, highlighted the powerful presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the region and said that thanks to the conditions, the Resistance Front's role-playing got more significant.
Ziyad al-Nakhala told Ghalibaf: "We are witnessing some states are moving towards normalizing relations with the Zionists, and at the same time the Resistance forces are strengthening themselves and their role and field presence are becoming stronger."
"Today, Israel is surrounded from all sides, and the weakness of the Zionist regime is being heard louder than ever, and it is less powerful than it was in the past," he noted.
