Iran Press/ Iran news: During the meeting, Rear Admiral Shahram Irani stated that the two countries' long-standing maritime relations would definitely be registered in the history, noting: "Pakistan is expected to continue the same effective historical path and develop its relations with neighboring Muslim countries with historical and cultural commonalities."
Referring to the history of naval relations between Iran and Pakistan, he said: "The relationship between the navies of Iran and Pakistan has been strategic and desirable for many years. During these years, joint exercises have been conducted between the two countries."
"The two navies must work together to establish security, especially in the Indian Ocean and North Indian Ocean region," he added.
