Islamic Republic of Iran inaugurates its first foreign based permanent expo center in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, on Monday.

Iran Press/Iran news: A permanent expo center for Iranian-manufactured products opened on Monday, with attendance of Iran's vice ambassador to Iraq, Seyyed Mousa Alizadeh Tabatabaei, Iraq's deputy trade minister Walid Habib al Mousavi and a number of top Iranian and Iraqi businessmen, in Iraq's 'Baghdad international expo'.

In Iran's permanent expo center in Baghdad, weekly professional fairs will be set up to showcase latest Iranian products, according to an Iran Press report.

This center will serve as a better tool for Iranian-Iraqi firms cooperation and providing better opportunities for marketing of Iranian-manufactured products and services.

Opening of Iranian Permanent expo center in Baghdad permanent international expo is a big step for strengthening financial ties between Tehran and Baghdad, Alizadeh Tabatabaei told the audience at the inaugural ceremony for Iranian expo center.

Deputy Trade Minister of Iraq, Walid Habib al-Mousavi, for his part, expressed his appreciation of Iran's support to Iraq and said that opening this expo is important step to better cooperation of Iranian – Iraqi businessmen and better introduction of Iranian industrial – production capacities and Iranian productions marketing in Iraq.

Iran exhibitions in Iraq will pave the way for Iraqi businessmen and investors to be in touch with their Iranian counterparts.

On 14 February 2018, Iranian ambassador to Iraq, Iraj Masjedi announced that Iran is to inaugurate the permanent exhibition of its products in Iraqi capital in near future on the sidelines of opening an exclusive exhibition of Iranian products in Baghdad.
