Iran Press/ Iran News: Iran is one of the biggest victims of terrorism in the world, where the terrorists have assassinated more than 17,000 people, including Iranian officials.
In a message to the Serbian First Deputy Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić on Tuesday, Iran's FM Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said Iran, as a victim of terrorism, submitted such top figure as Lt. Gen. Ghasem Soleimani to the world of humanity in the forefront of the fight against terrorism.
Amir-Abdollahian said the arrogant powers of the world, which have been disappointed with imposing sanctions and maximum pressure on Iran, are trying to hinder the progress of the country by creating chaos and encouraging violence.
He appreciated Serbia for its sympathy with Iran over the Shiraz terrorist attack and expressed hope that the two countries could take practical in the fight against terrorism and the deceptive policies of the arrogant powers.
