Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that 181 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 124,256.

Iran PressIran News: According to the official announcement, the total number of COVID- 19 patients in the country reached 5,796,659, and 5,333,304 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 11,844 cases, out of whom 1,804 patients were hospitalized.

4,693 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 34,115,587 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, nine cities are red, 106 are orange, 228 are yellow, and 105 are blue zones.

In the last 24 hours, 1,470,158 doses of the coronavirus vaccine were injected.

So far, 48,456,693 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 25,156,987 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 74,113,680 doses.
