Iran Press/ Iran News: Professor Mohammad Abdolahad, the head of Tehran University's Cancer Electrotechnical Research Institute said the new product is to be introduced to the world for the first time to serve the patients.
The achievement came as the West led by the US has been imposing severe sanctions on the Iranian nation.
The CDP is a medical device, which can determine the extent of metastasis and spread of a cancerous tumor in women’s breasts. It can detect the margin of breast cancer and help remove cancerous outgrowths with high precision.
The cancer margin is the edge or border of the tissue removed in cancer surgery, where cancerous cells could still exist and lead to the later recurrence of the disease.
