Iran Press/ Iran news: The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in a meeting with the organizers of the congress of 24,000 Khuzestan martyrs, on Saturday morning, strongly criticized the US for vetoing a UN resolution demanding a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip once again.
Referring to the revelation of the West's fake claims about human rights, the Leader said: "The Westerners, who are making a fuss about the execution of a criminal, have turned a blind eye to the killing of 30,000 innocent people in Gaza, and the United States has brazenly vetoed the resolution to stop bombing Gaza once again."
Referring to the Westerners' hypocritical behavior and double standards, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei added: "This is the true face of Western culture and civilization and their liberal democracy, whose politicians are smiling on the outside, but on the inside, they are a bloodthirsty wolf."
Iran's leader, touching upon the ongoing Israeli war in Gaza, stressed that the steadfastness of the Resistance forces and the patience of the Palestinians in the face of bombings shows strong religious faith.
"Trust in the People's Republic and Islam" is the factor of Iran's stability and progress
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran considered trust in the Republic of the People and Islam to be the factor of Iran's stability and progress.
Referring to the opinion of the late Imam Khomeini in choosing the term 'Islamic Republic', Iran's leader said: " The cause of the stability and progress of the Islamic system as well as its overcoming of many obstacles and conspiracies was based on the combination of trust in the People's Republic and Islam, and for the future, the way to overcome the problems is to continue in the same way of thinking."
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, congratulating Mid-Sha'ban celebrations pointed to the Imam's accurate understanding of the people, as well as the Imam's comprehensive and progressive view of Islam, stating: "From the very beginning days of the Islamic Movement until the victory of the Islamic Revolution and after that, Imam (RA) always trusted the people and considered Islam as an effective school of thought for the management of politics and society, and based on this, he was able to lay the groundwork for Iran's progress and the continuation of great movements."
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that the most important problem of the enemies of the Islamic Republic is their lack of understanding about the people of Iran and their lack of knowledge about Islam.
The enemies of the Iranian nation, by their miscalculation, thought that the Islamic Republic would not become 40 years old, but the progress of Iran did not stop and it will continue with the grace of God and relying on the people's will and their religious faith, he concluded. 219
