Iran Press/ Iran News: Dozens of Zionist settlers on Sunday, May 21, under the leadership of the so-called security minister of the Israeli regime, Itamar Ben-Gvir., attacked Al-Aqsa Mosque from Al-Maghar Gate under the strong support of the occupying regime's police.
Itamar Ben-Gvir's action brought about considerable Palestinian and Arab reactions and in addition to Palestinian resistance figures and groups, Arab countries including Qatar, Jordan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Turkish Foreign Ministry condemned it.
"Nasser Kanaani", the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, said: "Audacious and provocative actions are another aspect of the widespread and continuous crimes of the Zionist apartheid regime against the Palestinian nation and the religious and Islamic sanctities of this land, and it requires a deterrent response by the Muslim world and the international community."
Kanaani added: "Holy Quds will remain the eternal capital of Palestine, and successive attacks by the Zionist invaders on the city and its Islamic holy sites will not change its historical status."
