Ali Akbar Jokar, Iran’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan, met with Yerbol Mirasbosinov, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Tourism and Sports, to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in tourism.

Iran PressAsia:  Ali Akbar Jokar emphasized Iran’s potential in health tourism, while Mirasbosinov praised the active participation of Iranian athletes in the 5th World Nomad Games. The minister invited Iranian tourists and tourism representatives to explore Kazakhstan's rich cultural heritage. 

Additionally, Jokar met with Kazakh parliamentarians, discussing the strategic importance of enhancing trade relations, aiming to increase bilateral trade to $3 billion, with key investment opportunities in Iran’s southern ports.
