Iran Press/Iran News: Tehran prosecutor Ali Alqasimehr said on Monday that Trump, along with more than 30 others who involved in the January 3 attack that assassinated Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani face "murder and terrorism charges."
Alqasimehr did not identify anyone else sought other than Trump but stressed Iran would continue to pursue his prosecution even after his presidency ends.
The late Commander of Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, who had traveled to Iraq on the official invitation of the Iraqi officials, was assassinated by the US drone attack in Baghdad on January 3, 2020, along with the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis as well as eight companions.
