The head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization (TPO), Alireza Peyman-Pak, announced Iran's readiness to expand economic cooperation with Thailand.

Iran PressIran news: Alireza Peyman-Pak emphasized the TPO's readiness to hold a meeting of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation between Iran and Thailand and said: "The meeting can revive many economic agreements between the two sides and help the development of trade relations between the two countries."

In a meeting with the Thailand ambassador to Iran, the head of TPO said: Planning to send business delegations and forming a working group to follow up on the issues related to the development of trade between the two countries should be on the agenda.

Peyman-Pak added: "The important issue regarding the development of cooperation between the two countries is the formation of a joint trade committee, which can be discussed during Thailand's FM's visit to Iran or in an online meeting."

The Thai ambassador also welcomed the expansion of economic relations between the two countries.
