Iran Press/ Middle East: According to Iran press citing Palestinian news agency Sama, "Ziyad al-Nakhleh" said in a speech on Thursday, "We are interested in establishing relations with all Arab countries and we are ready to travel to all Arab countries."
Referring to his recent visit to Iraq, the Secretary General of Islamic Jihad said, "I thank them and met with all the Iraqi forces and the President of Iraq."
Al-Nakhleh further addressed the issue of arresting Palestinian forces by the Palestinian National Authority and said that the arrests carried out by the PA are to the benefit of the enemy. Maybe initiatives and intermediate solutions for the release of a number of prisoners will be proposed before the start of the meeting in Cairo.
The Secretary General of Islamic Jihad added that political arrests are still ongoing. The Palestinian Authority is trying to tell the Israelis that it governs.
Al-Nakhleh said about the resistance, after resisting the occupying army in the West Bank, people found a positive attitude. The Palestinian people believe that negotiations and cooperation with the occupiers are useless and they believe in resistance.
The Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad Movement added that we cooperate with the young forces of the Fatah Movement and the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades and we welcome them.
