Tehran (IP): Bahram Einollahi, the Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saleh Al Hasnawi the Minister of Health of Iraq, in a telephone conversation, emphasized the cooperation of the two countries to ensure the health of Arbaeen pilgrims.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran press, Bahram Einullahi, in this telephone conversation, while expressing special gratitude to the Iraqi government and the Ministry of Health of this country as well as the Iraqi health and medical forces for serving the Arbaeen pilgrims, called for the improvement of the quality of health services and facilitating the access of those present in the huge Arbaeen procession ceremony, to health services.

He added: "Fortunately, the necessary arrangements have been made to ensure the health of Arbaeen pilgrims in Iran, and health, medical and emergency medical forces have been deployed at the eight borders of entering and leaving the Islamic country with full readiness."

Referring to the occurrence of several road accidents in Iraq for Iranian pilgrims, the Minister of Health appreciated the cooperation of the Iraqi Ministry of Health in quickly transporting the injured to Iran.

The Minister of Health of Iraq also stated that 15 to 22 million people travel to Iraq during the Arbaeen procession and said: "Unfortunately, several road accidents occurred during this year's ceremony, and the staff of the Iraqi Ministry of Health, along with the health staff of Iran, provided appropriate services to the injured have presented."

Saleh Al-Hasnawi emphasized: The Iraqi Ministry of Health will not hesitate to take any measures to ensure the health of Iranian and non-Iranian pilgrims.
