Iran PressWest Asia: According to an Iran press report on Tuesday, Iran House of Innovation & Technology "IHIT" hosted Roy Himawan, Director General of Medicines and Medical Equipment Department of the Ministry of Health of Indonesia, Kamelia Faisal, Marketing Director of Biopharma, Andy Chandra, Executive Director of Sedi Kane Hospital, and other members of this Indonesian delegation.

They visited the drug and medical equipment department of the Iran Technology and Innovation House according to the specialized field of High-tech.

Abdulnaser Azad Bakht, Director General of Medical Equipment of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran, after this visit and in the meeting with this delegation, said: "About 1,500 units and factories active in the field of medical equipment are active in Iran, of which 372 factories are single and They produce all over the world."

Director General of Medical Equipment of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran, stating that the average annual growth in the world in the field of medical equipment is 547 billion dollars, said: "The investment volume of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the global market is about half a percent, which includes dental, laboratory, and medical equipment. is general medicine and among them, laboratory equipment has the largest share and occupies 15% of the global market."

Roy Himawan, Director General of the Medicines and Medical Equipment Department of the Indonesian Ministry of Health, also said in this meeting about the future plan of Indonesia in the field of medicine and medical equipment: "Our goal is to increase domestic production capacity, vaccine production and growth in single industries, and the advantage we give to the other party for international cooperation is to shorten the product registration process, which is a time-consuming project."

The Director General of the Medicines and Medical Equipment Department of the Indonesian Ministry of Health also emphasized the simultaneous capacity of Iran and Indonesia in the field of herbal medicines and called it an opportunity for exchanges between the two countries.
